rushmore

Here is a drawing i did while listening to rushmore while at work, i love this part of the movie where max fisher is flying his kite.. i think it's a pivital point in the movie where he kind of gets it all back together. It's just inspiring. Also i am trying to get upa style in before i start on george of the jungle.

warm and toasty!

this is another toy i made but this is made from a really soft material like the kind for baby toys-
not felt . I gave it to my popo ( grandma) for her birthday and my uncle dave took this picture
of it. I think it feels really nice but is too furry for a bun so i think i will not sew anymore in this material, plus it was really hard to work with.

I got to play on my Cintique( the kind of computer that has
a wacom monitor) today at work.

And for some reason my brain wasn't in colour mode.

Sooo we ( me and jayson are going to pool our $$ for a cintique
at home! I'm soooo excited!!

Also I might be selling my toys and stickers at the richmond night market this year as my friend is going to be having a table there and said i could try selling stuff too!

I just came back from upper bc at gallager lake for the long weekend
It's nice to get away for the long weekend but glad to be home also!

This is a my first try on the new Sketchbook program
everyone is talking about.. I really like it the program
because it is really intuitive - this is with the pencil
tool but there is pen and marker and everything i always
use anyway.

I just watched re:cutie honey and the animation is crazy awesome!
Here is a opening sequence from it. Basically a remake of the old
60's anime cartoon.

I think i am becoming a fan of the director, Anno hideako.

Stickers!!

I plan to print this on sticker paper for sticker goodness
heheee..those little soy milk drink boxes are like the kind i had
when i was little kid !!

I was wondering if i could sell these sometime ..
You think people would pay for my crazy doodles
of baked goods? Well if you want a copy i can sell

On another topic..I got a call from bardel yesterday
and it looks like my freetime is over as i accepted
a storyboard revision gig there for the time being!

Also as i write this Jayson has been asked to be featured on
the hard cold flash website so i will post that link when it

I think it is rushed but
it is something i did a drawing and always wanted
to make a soft toy that you would funtion like a wood
doll like the russian kind. Like the acorn would fit in the egg
etc... I hope to do it someday.
