Zakka ( japanese term for home style)

I love the japanese take on the cottage home style called zakka, so i am trying to
make something in this style, i decided to make some prints on my gocco, and i will
be selling these when i am done.

One thing i am not sure is to sell it as a air freshener or a pincushion..what would you buy this as? I might even combine the two into a pincushion/air freshener...

Also i made scones that turned out really yummy so i took a pic:D

Stamp fun!

Here is my first try with my new stamps!
I really found it easy and this only took about 15 minutes to make.
I ordered the stamp carving material and the carving tools off Stampeaz.com

Only thing is i need more coloured stamp pads now. he hee.

Tiny Food Stuffie

I made this a long time ago but found it and thought i would put it up ,
it's from one of my japanese books. It is very small like 2 inches.
In Tokyo this strawberry cake is the most popular cake and taste wonderful and
very different than any cake you will get in north america. way less sugar! Mmmmm...

Custom order Pistachio Skunk

Here is a custom order skunk i did a while ago and finally took downloaded pics of it yesterday
from my camera as my computer is not liking the sd cards lately i have to go thru my husbands computer which is fustrating..

Also am having a blast stamp carving i will put up the pics tommorow when i have more to show.

Plush You Entry #1

Here is what i have been working on for the Plush You Show this year..I drew this kitty on a post it note and went from there..here is the original sketch below.

I also took more pics of my toy collection but that can wait till tommorow, now
to get my hands on making some stamps!! I just got my package from stampeaz to
make my own carved stamps! weee!

Oh i just checked the Junior Society blog and the plush you blog and they had my eggtarts there amoung lots of other food themed toys from the food play flikr group! wee!

Kitty Kitty Boom Boom Store

So i have good news to say that i am now selling my egg tart toys
in a wonderful store called kitty kitty boom boom!in Durango CO.

I also am currently working on my submission for the plush you show!

Lastly here is my latest episode of pucca i found someone put on you tube in espanol.
I did the storyboarding and Jayson did the directing.
I hope there will be more in english..

The Birds Are RAVENOUS today!
We filled that feed full a week and a half ago and now it's almost gone!!
I think my next toy will be inspired by the chickedees i see everyday.
