Artisan Bread in 5 MInutes a day!

My Friend Laurraine from Patchwork Pottery introduces me to an awesome book "Artisan bread in 5 minutes"which i had to get! Now that i have time off i have been trying a bunch of recipes from it and it has become a fav cookbook for sure! I have never really been a baker so i had NO experiance and everything i made turned out great! Above is a loaf of peasant bread and below is a Philadelphia Stromboli which is sort of a calazone which is from an olive loaf recipe. Did it take 5 minutes? Not really..
the time to let the dough rise is not included which is usually 2 hours so it is something for the weekend or if you happen to be home for the initial dough recipe. However the dough should last in the fridge for up to 2 weeks! So you save time there. I am just sick of eating preservatives in my bread and also i love the smell so much..

My favorite so far is the onion rosemary foccacia ( above) with some balsamic and olive oil to dip it is pure heaven!!

lastly i had to include my patio tomatoes that are doing awesome! i hope to have more next year.

Life is messy and sometimes sweet..

For the last two weeks i was super busy at the animation studio but i am free again to continue my sewing! I also updated my website with the FUN section! Whee!

i also joined my last art show of the year, even tho i said no more i couldn't resist joining this one!
It's called Stuff This! and is in the rivet gallery in Ohio in December.

Makes me think that gallery shows are always having similar names like Plush you..Stuff this..and also i am in Plush it!?! It gets super confusing!! So please no more similar names k? haha

Also my basement is a big mess as i am trying to renovate the sewing/ animation studio
into a better place to create! Hopefully have it done before summer ends! here were some cool studios i am using for inspiration!
Lastly i just got an email from this Garret French who told me of his tee shirts that you can turn into stuffed toys when they are worn out! I really like this idea too!

Aiko

Finally got a new toy in my Etsy shop!
This Cute Bears name is Aiko!
Aiko is japanese for "little loved one".

There are going to be more like this soon too as i made quite a few from this
pattern i came up with. It was actually very challenging as i was trying to come up
with an interesting toy that i could make in the least amount of pieces.
Plus i am trying to make more quality toys and will be doing less felt and small toys
and more bigger toys with quality fabric and of course, eco friendly stuffing.

Hope these clouds go away for the long weekend!!
